Very similar to the 'Hollywood Ace' snare, but with 6 lugs as the Ace had 8 lugs.

Here is a pristine 1963 Slingerland Blue Sparkle 3 ply Vintage Snare Drum 5.5 x 14. This 3 ply, 6 lug - Mahogany, Poplar, Mahogany under blue sparkle wrap with Maple reinforcing hoops. Chrome over Brass stick saver 'Rim Shot' counterhoops, Rapid strainer, tone control all in perfect condition.
